WHY?

Because it's not like a right-handed person is going to do it. They're too busy oppressing us.

Look, we have it pretty hard in lots of ways. Statistically, we die younger (admittedly, often through accidents involving tools not designed for us.) We’re not treated as a minority (even though we are.) It’s not considered a disability (even though certain things are more difficult for us.) The biases we face are sometimes so ingrained that even us lefties don’t notice them: the very fact that you’re reading this left to right is because writing was developed so that righties throughout history could see what they were writing as they wrote, without smudging the ink.

So let's stick together. Share our stories. Celebrate victories. Force closet lefties out into the open. We're here! We're mildly inconvenienced! Get used to it!
